And she's off - to the state track meet that is!
Last Saturday she competed in the high jump, 4 X 400 and 4 x 800 relays at Regionals, and qualified in ALL THREE EVENTS. In her relays, her team came in FIRST. It was not even close. She tied for third in high jump at 3'6" (I think - I was to excited and surprised.)
The kid rocks so hard. I am VERY proud of her.
To think that she did not want to run track this year, and now she is State Bound AGAIN. Not bad for a kid who thought t-ball was kick ball, and was very disappointed to know she would have to run and risk getting sweaty and dirty during the game.
