Happy 6 Month Birthday, Little Troll!
We made it. Whew!
I always felt that if we could make it to 6 months, all would be well. And here we are today, 6 months into our lives after the birth of the third and final. And we have all lived to tell about it.
Someday I will drag this picture out and show his wife, kids, and anyone else who will look. The poor guy is gooped up with a cold, and still groggy from partying the night before. Actually, it is the Zyrtec that has made him groggy, and Mom's lack of attention that the snot is on his face.
He is such a honey, though. No matter how crappy he feels, he always has a smile on his face.
His 6 month tricks include:
-Scooting on his belly EVERYWHERE
-Blowing spit bubbles/making rasberries
-Sitting up without support
-Propping himself up on his side (from a belly position) when he wants to be picked up and held
-Kisses
-Hugs
-Slapping his belly and kicking his legs simultaneously with delight (mom's personal favorite)
-Passing objects from one hand to the other
-Bringing hands together
-Eating some table food (popcorn especially)
-Moving up to his big boy rear facing carseat (no more infant seat!)
-Using his boppy in high chairs and carts
-Playing Bingo in his exersaucer and watching the drum spin
-Rolling (3 months)
-Rolling both ways (4 months)
-Holding his bottle
-Laughing, giggling, wiggling, smiling
I am sure there is more, but those are the highlights.
Mac and cheese and green beans for dinner tonight! That was the first dinner for the other two at 6 months. Call it a family tradition, one that only mom knows about :-)
