It was a shining moment in the saga of the father/son relationship, and an insight to what is to come.

Daddy was standing on the outside of the patio door, taunting the boy who was on the inside looking out. Daddy tells the boy to put his nose against the screen, like this (Daddy demonstrates). Daddy's plan was to playfully bop the boy on the nose.

However, the boy is way to smart for Daddy's antics.

As Daddy presses his face against the screen in a fine demonstration of what he expected the boy to do, the boy swings his unopened cup of applesauce and whacks Daddy in the nose.
