Our man is transitioning up to the Toddler Room at school. No more babies No more babies... Hey wait! He is a baby! I think the transitioning period is more for the mommies than for the kids. I am not adjusting well.
Anywho, the Toddlers are often involved in "messy" activities that involve water, sand, pudding, or, like in this picture, cherry pie filling.
When the activity is complete, the kids remove their blue smocks, and move on to other things. Not my kid, though. Noooo. He insists on wearing the blue smock for the entire day, and protests loudly if it is removed.
They finally gave up, and he is allowed to wear his blue smock.
