I asked my lovely daughter the other day if she would always be so kind, gentle, sweet, understanding, forgiving, etc. (Really she is all of that and then some. It frightens me at times.)
Without missing a beat, she replies, "I don't know."
My mom has it right. When the other shoe falls it will be with a resounding THUD.
